Alright, so I am now 20 and I found that for a while when I was jacking off like 3 times a day, I would start to not enjoy sex as much because I guess I was too used to the hand. When I stopped, I enjoyed sex again. My question has two parts I guess, is there a temporary loss of sensitivity to the penis when you do jack off a lot? Are there any long term side effects from masturbating so much? Thanks

Yes, sensitivity will go down and, no, there are no long term effects.

so is stopping for a few days enough to get the sensitivity back? Just curious, as it worked before but don't want to press my luck if it will be a mroe permenant issue if I continue to do it with frequency.

Since you were able to reduce the frequency of your masturbation and regain more sensitivity before you should be able to do that again.

Even those who masturbate by rubbing against a bedsheet or some other form of masturbation which requires more pressure than one would experience during normal sexual intercourse can regain sensitivity by changing their masturbatory technique for a while.
