Hi, just read your post and wanted to reply.This is actually very common(friends who have been pregnant have experienced their partners same reaction).
i think it sounds like a subconscious fear on your part of maybe hurting the baby that is developing inside your wife.Also maybe you see your wife slightly differently, more as something to be cared for and cherished as she goes through pregnancy, rather than as a sexual being.
But rest assured, sex during pregnancy, as long as she has no problems or health issues, is perfectly safe and normal and nothing to be afraid of.Some people have a normal sex life throughout, maybe adjusting positions as she gets bigger.Some prefer to abstain until the baby is born, prefering other ways to pleasure themselves.
