Has anyone ever had Trich? If so what symptoms if any did you have? How long did it take to clear up?

Did your girlfriend/wife have it too? How long did it take for them to clear up?

Does anyone know if there is a test for men to determine if you have Trich or not?

My girlfriend was diagnosed with Bacterial Vaginosis which I hear men do not get. I really felt and still do feel that I have symptoms of something. I'm wondering if Bacterial Vaginosis was a misdiagnosis and if she really had Trich. She took medication (which I hear can be used to clear up both) and she now has no symptoms.

Trich is a bacterial infection. It can be indentified by a lab test. The infection is usually easily cleared up with a certain antibiotic your doctor will prescribe to you. But be sure to go see a doctor and tell everyone else you have unprotected sex with to go get tested as well, since it will have most likely them as well. The symptoms are the classic pain during urination and a yellowish discharge. Hope that helps.
