Lately my penis has become less sensitive in the pleasure sense, i.e., when I start to masturbate there is slight discomfort for a few seconds or so, and after that, stroking it is less pleasurable. On top of this it is taking longer to reach orgasm. The main problem I have is that it is fickle whilst with my girlfriend. We havent tried penetration , but her head giving doesnt feel pleasurable and just kills my erection. I know there's nothing wrong with how shes doing it, its just it feels less pleasurable.

Anyhow my query is, how do I regain the pleasure i once got from stimulation? I am only 18.

Here's what I had and still get occasionally: the head of my penis goes basically numb to pleasure sensation. Before this happens, there is usually a sharp burning pain there, and then the next day it's pretty much numb. The pleasure is way different, and takes me much longer to orgasm masturbating, and having sex can be impossible. Thankfully, it seems to go away on its own, but mine recurs from time to time. Were you masturbating a lot before this happened? For me, stopping all sexual activity for about a week has usually always helped. Are these the same symptoms you have?

Theres no sharp burning pain, just slight discomfort when i start to masturbate. Before this all started I actually hadnt masturbated or anything in 2 weeks, and tried to have sex, but i couldnt get hard. Since then my erection has gotten better but its always taken much longer to orgasm and my penis feels less sensitive to pleasure.

hmm...this is really strange. Especially considering we're both young (I'm only 20 myself). Do you have normal sensation on the rest of your penis aside from the head? I do. And there are parts of the head that are more numb than others.
This comes and goes with me, and I can't think of any link. I really hope you can. Sometimes it will be near numb for a long time, and later it will be almost back to normal for several weeks. I know I don't have any STD's or anything like that, and it's not related to depression or anxiety or anything. Maybe we can figure this out together, I'm sure it's driving you as insane as it is me. Can you think of any other symptoms you've been having, like headaches or fatigue? Are you taking any medications?

Yeah I think the rest of my penis remains unaffected. Definitely not to do with STDs. I think it may be anxiety personally, I definitely lost attraction with my GF when I "failed" and any time my penis is erect now, I'm conscious about it staying up, or if I'm masturbating I'm thinking about my problem.

But would that affect the feeling of the head? I think its getting better gradually, time will tell.
