| Re: ejaculation/erection
Is it the doctor or the insurance company's drug formulary? Many insurance companies have an age cut off before which a man can not get a prescription for Erectile dysfunction without first having a diagnosis of E.D. My concern is that this is most often physical and not psychological as was thought decades ago. Specifically, erectile problems are the canary in the mineshaft to other cardiovascular problems such as a stroke or a heart attack -the blood flow is blocked for some reason. Your husband needs a new doctor he should have received a script and a cardiovascular work up if any other condition doesn't explain the problem -regardless he ought to have gotten a script unless there was a medical contraindication. Most over the counter 'supplements' contain the amino acid L-arginine and the B vitamin Niacin (in the form of nicotinic acid only -the other forms are good for nutrition but not what he needs) these are both cheap vascodilators (they will increase blood flow). Take the niacin in slow release form as it increases blood flow to the skin and can make one itchy.
