Your accident as a child did NOT make you lose your virginity~even if it did break your hymen. You do not lose your virginity until you have sex(no matter how far his penis was inside of you). You may never know if your hymen breaks or not. Some people bleed a little and some don't. Does'nt matter how far it get inside. Probably you will get part of your hymen for a long time. Once the hymen is broken it does'nt dessapears in the nothing, it just become tear skin at the entrace of your vagina.
It seams you are very new to sexual act. Becareful of unwanted pregnacy and STD. Care your body, keep it clean, ask the same to your partner and enjoy it.
