Hymen rehealing?

I lost my virginity several months and ago only recently had sex again. Now when I did, me and my bf were alarmed to see quite a bit of blood. What could this be? He suggested it was my hymen "healing up" again cos I'd been inactive for quite a while but I haven't heard of anything like this. It only hurt a lil at the time and there's no pain or anything now and it's now happened again. What could it mean?

Re: Hymen rehealing?

Most likely your hymen did not tear completely the first time you had sex. When you had sex this time it probably tore the rest of the way.

Re: Hymen rehealing?

MrNice is completely right. Hymens do not grow back. Sometimes it takes a few times to break the hymen completely.
You're normal and fine!
