I have a story to tell you that will (i hope) make you feel better. When i was a young teenager (now im in college), i watched Oprah's episode on breast self examination and i had a little lump and my mother didn't listen to me. It baffled me for years, i noticed it was growing and growing. This is what you describe as your lump. As far as i know, most women have them. Honestly, mine are now still hard, i am not very self conscious about it though because in my opinion, it helps give the breast shape and perkiness. I can't tell you that there's nothing to be self conscious about because each person's level of comfort is different, but i can reassure you that i have them too.
