High cortisol due to hypogonadism?
Got my reports back from my cortisol 24hour urine test:
It was 466 nmol/d , the lab range isn't listed but it does say <275
next to it, so I'm presuming it shouldve been below this number. Is
466 indicative of some kind of tumour, or is it just that my body is
producing excess cortisol because my testosterone is pretty much non-
existent? Or could it be stress? I wish I knew why it was so high.
What are the treatments for high cortisol without a tumour present?
Thanks in advance.
