No, it's not true. Well...it could be true. It all depends on how sensitive he is, and other factors. Some guys last about 10 seconds, but some guys, like me, could go for 10 hours or more their first time, because the stress of lasting 10 seconds causes them to be unable to have an orgasm at all.
Haha, 10 hours eh buddy? Easy now, you've got no one but yourself to try and impress on these anonymous health boards.

I think the question dealt with the first time of having sex not the first time of the day or such.
Many guys actually do have a problem with lasting their first time due to many factors such as being nervous,new sensations and so on.
Also it is very possible to have an orgasm and ejaculation from 10 seconds of sex,at least for guys it can be.

I'll always remember my first time, I barely got the glans in and it was all over!! Foreplay, and her helping me put on the condom, brought me right to the edge.
Some guys can't even make it to insertion, some will come on the first stroke, some can last a couple of strokes, some will manage a full half minute or even a full minute, it will take some many minutes, others 20 minutes and some will never get there. Condoms help things out by reducing sensitivity. Even guys who are experts at masturbation and holding off, when with a real, live girl, will pop instantly. You won't know how long you will last until you are there. If you are in a loving relationship, whatever happens will be ok - no one is an expert their first few times.
well i wont have to worry about it any time soon, were only 1*(well shes 1*) and shes catholic, so no sex before marriage. good news, because if we get married and i suck, shes got no one to compare me too! :-D
