Pulling Out and Birth Control
I am on the birth control shot Depo-Provera, does my boyfriend still have to pull out?

That's for you to decide.

You know depo-provera isn't 100%. Pulling out is way less than 100%. Which way do you trust the statistics?

The two of you have to decide that. No one form of birth control is 100% effective, always best to use 2, like adding a condom. The "pull out"method is the least effective of all...and if he does that consistently with success, he's more controlled than the rest of us. Its awful difficult to do that! And you never know if you've really gotten the lil guy out on time!

There is always a slight chance of getting pregnant pretty much no matter what you do. But personally I would not make my man pull out if I was on bc.
