| Re: yeast infection!!!!
well here's the deal. it is going to do you no good to lie to your mom because if you are under 18 your mom will be involved with medical issues, that is just the law. i did the same exact thing when i was 16. i was having sex even though i told my parents i wasn't and i got pregnant. the state i live in at the time had a no consent clause which meant i could get an abortion without my parents knowing. i did and it was the hardest thing to go through alone.
my whole point to this is that yes it could be a yeast infection, but there is a good chance that it could be something else. it could be bacterial vaginosis, clyamidia, HPV, or other STD's. did you know that 80% of the sexually active population has a form of HPV? the virus that causes warts and in women most often cervical cancer? this is not intended to scare you, but you need to realize that if this is something more serious you must get it treated and if that means spilling the beans so be it. it is one uncomfortable moment in the rest of your sexually active life, if you are willing to have sex, you have to be willing to deal with stuff like this.
i am now 27 with a 7 month old son. i can't imagine my life as a 16 year old mom. i actually just told my mom about the abortion. we both cried. she because she wasn't there for me and I because i wouldn't let her be.
