What kind of questions are important to ask before you marry someone?

You should see where their point of views lie and then see if they are what you have in mind for your future. Don't ask after you have already told them what you think because they will tell you what you want to hear. Things to discuss are parenting and disaplining a child and how you would like to raise children IF they are in your future and how many children would you like to have. Other things are family values..things you believe in. Where do you see yourself in "X" amount of years. Money issues. What if one of you were to get sick, crippled, or very ill. these are just a few. Most of the things you learn from the marriage itself. Good luck in your future.

Just some of the many things you could ask would be what is their goal in life, where do they see themselves (and you) in the future, do they want kids and how many, what are their family values as far as loyalty and honesty, those sort of things. And as far as sexual goes, for your own benefit you should both be sure you want to or dont want to have sex before marriage, and what type of relationships they had in the past, how did they turn out, etc. Some people may want to know the others sexual past before they get married.
