i've been thinking about that a lot lately. we care a lot about each other and there are only two reasons that i can come up with not to do it. first i don't want to get pregnant (obvious), and i wanna save for something special like if we ever get married then there would be something special for that night u know? i don't think we should do it until we are ready to deal with the consequences and rite now we are not even close to that. i care a lot about doing it for the first time and wut it means. so many ppl say that they regret it and i don't want to be one of those. marriage is important to me and well i kind of wanna save up for that. but then i'm also curious about wut it's going to be like. my bf and i have been fooling around and we talked about this too. he said that he can wait for a few yrs until i'm ready. i can't help that sometimes i feel that it's on his mind whenever he's with me. idk wut to do.

Sex sounds like something that you hold sacred and want to save for your husband, so do that. Your boyfriend is understanding and respects your decision to save yourself, so what's the problem? He probably does think about sex when you two are showing each other affection (kissing, holding hands, etc..), but that's natural. It's not out of the ordinary for a guy or girl to have those thoughts. He sounds like he cares about you if he says he'll wait a few years, obviously he isn't feeling deprived sexually. Don't give into it just to please him, if he really loves you he'll wait like he says he will. You don't want to regret it later.

I agree with ForgottenFaith - my boyfriend is also willing to wait until we are married, even though it will not be for at least 4 years.
Also, if you did happen to end up marrying somebody else, can you imagine how bad it would feel to have to tell them that you had already given yourself away to somebody else? *just my opinion*

Hey I'm one of those girls who regrets having sex before gettign married. I have an amazing hubby though and he doesn't judge me. He loves me for me not the things I have done in the past. I strongly suggest waiting until you get married. It is something really special to share with your husband. It is just a thought and you can take it if you want but I would wait. I know that the temptation can be bad but there are other things* to do beside have sex. Hope everything turns out good for you in the decision that you make whatever that may be. And remember that if he really loves you he will also be willing to wait. Good Luck!
