Talking a tiny bit of advise

im 19 and about 4 months ago i slept wid sum1 unprotected and after i skiped the first period i took 4 tests 1 week apart they all came back negative i had a period but it was so light and only a couple of days but they were regular as clockwork b4 that
now i have had a horrible pulling feeling at the very bottom of my stomach all the time and it is really hard and senistive when touched also it hurt wen i had sex about 3 weeks ago and i read that it might be a cyst that is causing the pain on the ovarys it wasn't like stabbing pains it was an unconfy pain like aching pain i know it was silly not 2 use protection but everyone makes mistakes.

was wondering if anyone would have any ideas without consulting a doctor if it is just nutin it may just been period pains but delayed due to stress

thanx u for ur time

Re: a tiny bit of advise

It could be stress... but you can't just rely on that and brush off your problems.
If all your tests are negative then you're probably not pregnant. There is still a possibility of course, but you're probably not.
However, you could be having more serious problems, such as cysts, as you mentioned.

I wouldn't brush it off, like I said. If it's that painful and is affecting your periods, definitely go see a doctor. Who knows, you could have a STD or something worse. Or you could have cysts in your ovaries, which are a common cause of irregular periods.
Your best bet is to go to a doctor so you know what's wrong for sure.

Good Luck!

Re: a tiny bit of advise

hi i did the same thing that you are/were doing. it was all caused stressed and the fact that i was thinking bout what if im preg. what if the the test was wrong. but riotgirl00 is right it could be a cyst. but usually with me my stomach hurts before my period gets here. i know it sounds crazy. it dont do it all time. but maybe if you relax and get the stress off you it will go away. my periods were light also and sometiems only lasted two days. its nothing to worry bout. your body is still going through changes. try to take the stress off and see if it helps.

best of luck
jess

Re: a tiny bit of advise

I definitely think you should see a doctor. It could be anything - your abdominal pain could also be a STD, since you had unprotected sex. Besides, you should start having annual pap smears once you turn 18 or become sexually active, whichever comes first, and you're past both of those. Make an appt with your doctor or Planned Parenthood, and while you're there, ask about your birth control options so you don't have this worry again :-)
