It sounds to me like you might not be familiar with the exact layout of the female anatomy. The hymen - what you may be referring to as the 'cherry' - is right at the opening of the vagina. You can even see it if you know what you are looking for (if it's still there). That said, there is no way whatever you are feeling inside her has anything to do with her hymen (or her 'cherry'). The hymen is usually what bleeds when a girl first has intercourse. If her first guy was really small, he might not have stretched it enough but still enough to make it bleed, and now it's torn the rest of the way.
As for what you were feeling inside, her cervix perhaps? There's nothing else in there. Anyway, maybe you should look up exactly what are the parts down there for girls, so you can at least name them properly when asking about them. It can get pretty confusing if people aren't using the words right or the right words.
