Problem with pimples on shaft of penis and testicles - Sexual Health - Teens Message Board

I've never had any sexual contact, Maybe over a year and a half ago I got the pimples on my testicles and on the bottom of the shaft of my penis, and I never thought twice, also there is a thick dark black line under the skin on the shaft of my penis that goes nearly to the top. Now I am becoming concerned as i'm becoming closer to sexual contact. The pimples are very small and edged together under the skin, they're also on my testicles but alot more spread out, is there anything I should do, or should I go and see a doctor. I'm afraid to go see a doctor, can I set a appointment myself, or do I need a parent?

Omg dude no problems there man! I thought the same thing for a while a few years back! They arent pimples they are hair folicles becuase im guessing puberty for you started sometime around back then and thats just hair folicles...even if there is no hair comming from them they arent pimples. And the black line or dark line w/e is the main "vein" running into your penis..its where all the blood comes through to reach your penis when it makes it erect...dont worry dude there isnt anything wrong :P

They also could be what are called pearly penile papules. They are small spots on the penis that resemble small pimples. Nothing abnormal. Look it up.

If they are pimples be sure to keep that area clean, and if your sweaty change your underwear or wash up with soap and water. If you have pubic hair you could also shave it... but washing up is all you need to do.

I've had a similar problem. A couple of years ago now, i think (not sure how long its been), i noticed some small flesh colored "pimples" along the underside of my penis. I figured it was nothing to worry about, since the ones at the base of the shaft had hairs coming out of them. Before long, I noticed that they had developed all the way to the tip of my penis, yet only on the underside. They were also about halfway around it on both sides. None are on the top though. Im uncircumsized, and when i pull back my foreskin there are two small clusters of these dots inside the foreskin. These are also on my testicles, but i'm pretty sure they are just hair follicles. One thing i'm kinda worried about though, is a larger bump on the right side of the shaft. It looks more like a pimple, and seems to have a tiny black spot in the center. Im young and have never had sexual contact. I was wondering what these things are, and how to get rid of them without having to see a doctor.
