Hi,

I wondered if you could help me, when ever I try to masterbate after getting an erection I cant pull the skin back on the head.
But when I am not erect I can pull it back freely over the head and quite far down the shaft.

There is a small piece of skin at the back of the head which tighens if I try to pull down, its goes a whitey colour like its pulled to its max.

How can I get the skin over the head when I am erect? Do I have to have an operation?

I hope someone can help?

Read my stretching instructions, a sticky near the top of the Men's Health board and get back with any questions. The tight bit that goes white is your fraenulum (US spelling is frenulum) and you can try and stretch it but if you can't there is a very small operation called a frenuloplasty that lengthens it without removing anything. It heals up in a week or so but may take a few weeks more before all is working properly. Circumcision is a last resort and is definitely not something you should be worried about at this early stage.
