Actually, a virgin is typically described as someone who has not yet had sexual intercourse, which is typically described as the insertion of a penis into a vagina.

Since you have not had a penis in your vagina, you are technically still a virgin. Being a virgin has nothing to do with the breaking of your hymen (which is not 'inside your vagina', btw, but rather outside, at the opening). It has to do with a penis going in your vagina.

The term virgin is also often used when describing someone who has never done something specified, like being a camping virgin, or an 'oral sex virgin', you get my drift. Generally though, when the term is used by itself, it means plain old male/female intercourse.
