Re: my period was normal then two days later it started up again

There are a lot of things that can cause a disruption to the cycle of hormones your body needs to experience to stay in cycle correctly. Losing weight, gaining weight, illness (cold, flu), extra stress. These things can cause your body to ovulate too soon or not at all. Basically it sounds like your body double ovulated. As long as this period comes and goes, and it should be light, it might not be a big problem. But since you've been sketchy for a while, it might not hurt to go to a gyno and get checked with a blood test to see where your hormone levels are. Keep exact dates and description. I had some issues when I was in my 30's and they drove me nuts with wanting to know the exact dates everything happened. If you end up having to see a doctor, the details will be good to have.
