| Re: Pregnancy Possibility??
Exactly.
There's only a few days a month that you're likely to get pregnant- the day you ovulate, and the two or three days before that.
After it is released from your ovary, your egg only lives for 12 to 24 hours. But sperm can live inside you for two or three days. Only when live sperm and a live egg are present together can pregnancy occur.
Typically, you will ovulate 10 to 14 days before your next period (so, mid-cycle for most of us).
The middle of your cycle is the "danger" zone for pregnancy.
It might be best to avoid sex at all during those days.
I think you got lucky this time, but it would be a good idea for you to do some research and learn more about ovulation, conception, and what days to avoid.
Best of luck!
