To be honest about it, I used to have sex with a prior g/f of mine, while on her period, and I just don't recall there being that big of a mess! Have you tried it yet to find out?

my man and I have sex when I'm on my period and there usually isn't much of a mess. if your really worried about a mess just put a towel on the bed or where ever your going to have sex and it usually will catch what happens to fall if any. I've heard that the instead cups are very messy themselves b/c they don't absorb they just catch the blood but it's up to you..I've never used them just heard about them. good luck
