Wink Breaking hymen

Hey All!
I know this question is a lil outta the ordinary but...how can I pop my own cherry(hymen)? I am terrified of my first time being painful and would rather me pop it than any one else. Wouldn't that make it less painful? So how would one do it? Thanx for all your info!

If your boyfriend is a loving person, you should be ok. Just take it slow and make sure you are wet enough. If you feel too nervous and aren't wet enough, use some ky jelly.

But if you want to get some experience ahead of time, you are going to need a vibrator, probably a smooth thinner one as opposed to one of the penis like vibrators. You will need to be over 18 to enter an adult store, or have a credit card to order online. Otherwise, you will need to find some house hold item, that fits the description, and put a condom on it.

Have fun, lol

Let your boyfriend do it, some boys like to lick up the mess afterwards.

Since everyone is built differently, there's no one particular way to break it. Even a vibrator might not do it.

I did it with a finger, and I didn't bleed one drop.

Some people bleed lots, and some people don't bleed, and some people don't even have one! It's possible to break it by doing normal daily activities. And once you're done with puberty, eventually, ending roundabouts age 25 but this varies for everyone, it will retract and pull up and shrivel away.

So wait a minute, you mean if you're still a virgin in your mid-20s or so you might not ever get your "cherry popped"? I never heard that before. Is there any way to tell if you still have one - like....can you see it in a mirror, or what? Also wrin you said you did it with a finger - how did you know if you didn't bleed at all?

Try horseback riding. It did it for a lot of girls I knew in high school.

On the womans healthboards ages ago I heard of a woman having sex then having a child by cesarean (sp?) and then having sex again and still not breaking her hymen. She finally broke it when she gave birth to her second child. Don't worry, and don't force it.

Ogrt has a great comment!!! A lot of guys like doing it because they like it in oral sex after...Before doing anything ask your man what he thought about it, Itll make it more comfortable for the both of you!
hope everything goes well,

I know it because it hurt before to do things and it hurt when I moved it in a certain way, and then it was sore for a couple days and I have never had pain like that since.

So I'm *guessing*, really.

Oh...just wondering.
But I still want to know, does anyone know?, if you can see your hymen or something? Like how would a doctor tell if it was still there, would they need some sort of....instrument? Or can you just tell? I don't know why this question is just nagging me now....

1st, thanx for the 411...now, this is gonna sound really gross, and i know you all don't wanna picture some1 squatting in front of a mirror in your hear, but, here's how to see your hymen:
Squat in front of a mirror, or sit w/your legs open and a handheld mirror, you can see your vaginal opening(hole) and there should be two inner lips, and barely, just outside the hole, those "lips" are your hymen. I couldn't really see mine before because i thought it would just stand out. Mine was barely noticable, but hymens vary. I also heard that if you have a thin hymen that it will hurt less your first time than if you have a thick one. Hope this helps!

Your gynecologist (which you should be seeing if you are having/plan to have sex, or are 18 or older), can easily see your hymen. Gynecologists can also cut your hymen for you if you ask.

I'm pretty sure that I lost my hymen when I was putting my foot up onto a high rock as a kid. I guess I stretched it apart or something. It was like a sharp but lingering pain. It didn't hurt when I had sex for the first time.

gen13, that's not your hymen.

Because I still have one. And it stands out at least 1/8"

Re: Poppin Cherries...

hey... i have a question too.... since your gynecologist can cut out ur hymen if u ask, can they also tell you if it's very thin or if its been stretched? and also if you break it during horseback riding are you going to bleed on a horse i mean i dont get it...

Re: Poppin Cherries...

i was just wondering because if my gynecologist said it was very thin or not there at all or has been stretched then i would assume i would experience little pain when i start having sex.

i'm pretty sure i have a hymen because it hurts to put a tampon in sometimes

Yes, a gynocologist can tell if it's thinner than average or if it's been streched. THey have a good angle for looking, plus they can feel it when they insert their fingers in you.
