One of my friends told me it was okay to have sex the day after your period is over with. Beacuse the lining of the uterus needs to "refill" again and the egg needs to be waved down to the uterus again and it takes a few days.

Is that true??

Ive been letting my boyfriend ejaculate the day after my period..and I'm sitll not pregnant but I dont feel too safe about it either.

Your friend is wrong. There is still a chance of pregnancy no matter where you are in your cycle. You could beon the first day of your period and still have a chance of getting pregnant. Granted the chance is supposed to be smaller but it is still a chance.
See sperm can live inside you for as long as 7 days and if you ovulate during that time you can get pregnant. So it is not safe for you to be having unprotected sex at that time. You need to make your bf use a condom each and every time no matter what.
Also you need to make sure he is clean of stds.
Go on the pregnancy board and talk to some of the women on there who have gotten pregnant during and right after their period. It happens,you have just been lucky so far.

Don't take a chance. Rhythm method works better for getting pregnant than not.

Everything you've been told is wrong. Use a condom! They protect against pregnancy AND STD's. They are pretty damn cheap to buy and there's no reason you shouldn't be wearing one.
