i'm 18...i'm not supposed to be pulling a bob dole!!! i have a beautiful, sexy girlfriend, whom i find extremely attractive. i wasn't sexually active prior to my relationship with her. we've tried...5 or 6 times in the last month, BUT I CAN'T GET IT UP!!! what on earth is wrong with me. even when i noticed the problem (first time we tried, i had been drinking, so i played it off as that), and tried masturbating, i've noticed i can't get the full, hard erections i used to get when younger...listen to that, "younger"...what the hell, i'm 18 for christ's sake. HELP!!! sometimes i notice i still get the morning wood, but why the hell do i get random, unstimulated erections, and i can't pop a bone when i'm lying in bed with a girl i love who's dying to have sex with me?!?!?! my girlfriend is super understanding, etc, says she loves me, and that she doesn't think i've got anything to worry about. can someone please, please please help me out here...is is psychological??? i just need something to go on.

yes, this is most likely a mental problem
how do u feel around your girlfriend? since you havnt been sexual active before this you are probably still uncomfortable weather you want to notice it or not

as for a solution, you could try more foreplay (if you don't do this already) to try and get yourself more excited. i seriously doubt that this is a problem that requires medication at all, but you could go to your doctors and maybe he could recommend some other options.

Hey dude first thing you need to do is relax! Its like the kind of thing that can get much worse as we get more frustrated!
I have had similar experiences as well and usually it is because I wasn't totally comfortable with the girl.
It can also be she isn't really doing anything to turn you on! Maybe she isn't sexy in bed? Maybe she is not trying hard to please you?
Try this though...Give her oral and masturbate yourself until you are fully erect and than proceed or try masturbating while she is licking your balls this always got me in the mood as well.
Don't panic! Its no biggie! Just get comfortable with her and things should be fine!

It's called "performance anxiety" and the more you worry about it the longer it will persist! You have to find a way to relax and then nature will take over.
