b/f help ASAP - Sexual Health - Teens Message Board

I have a crush. We both like eachother but have not reached the step of actually becoming B/F and G/F yet. I heard him talking the other day about maybe asking me out, but then his friend was making fun of him and sex with me. Well he ( my crush) just smiled and laughed. I don't know what to do or if I should say something to him. I would if he wanted me too becuase I want to too. I just don't know if his friend just ruined any chances or is talking about how my crush may just use me. I am not sure this must sound quite odd. I think it does.

Well, I've been in similar situations. (I'm a guy). There are girls who have liked me that I have liked as well and whether its just seeing eachother in the halls or if we are somewhat friends and talk to eachother, I just don't know when to actually ask them out. I think its great for a girl to ask out a guy. Most girls however, expect the guy to make the move and ask them out. I think that you should go for it because I've learned that you never know unless you try especially in these situations. You go ahead and ask him out and you will see signs if he is really interested in you or if he is out to use you.

Best policy is to pretend you don't know anything about their conversation.

If anything, mention offhand a (perhaps made-up) situation about someone being jealous and masking their jealousy by ridiculing the person they were jealous of to your love-interest.

thank you for both replies. it helped me alot. i had never thought of actually asking the guy myself. i just don't want to make him or i look like a complete idiot. lol.. cold feet is more like it . thank u so much!

If theres some advice i can give u, I cant stress enough but dont worry about what that other guy says! Go and talk to your freind Now lol, and ask him out or at least make him aware that you would maybe like to go out with him.
i was once in the same predicament as you where my boyfreinds freind tried to turn him off going out with me. I made the first move to my best friend and said that I liked him etc and that we should go out. In the end, he ended up realising that his other freind is not worth having because if he doesnt respect his decision on choosing a girl who he loves then he wasnt worth having as a freind at all. So please go and tell him otherwise you could end up losing him and that hurts more to know that u lost your chance because u never tried.
