Post Sex with period?

Hey, I have been with my boyfreind for 9 months and we started having sex around the first month we went out. What my concern is, is whenever i have my period, i say i dont really feel like having sex then but he doesnt seem to care, and just tells me to take my tampon out and it wont matter. I havent ever agreed to it yet, but I just wanted to get some opinions on people who have done this-are there other guys out there who dont care about it, or even girls who have sex when they have their period and why on earth would some guys not worry about sex with a girl when they have their period? isnt it messy?

Well that depends. If you don't want to have sex because you are on your period, then you don't have to and if he force you then it is bad.

But I find it to be like when you give oral sex, I mean those are things that could be seen as discusting but then you realise there is nothing wrong and it is actually good. I think menstrual sex falls in the same category.

Next week my gf doesn't want to have sex on friday (our sexual day) cuz she is going to do some schoolwork and she has to wake up early next day, and the friday after it is going to be her period again, so I want to ask her if we can do it on her perdiod cuz else we are going to have to wait another week.

I've had sex during my period. It's not as messy as you might think. Just put a towel down underneath you and have fun You could also do it only on the days when your flow is lighter.

If you think it's "disgusting" then just skip it. Some people like it and some people don't. No biggie.

First, never have sex if you don't want to. Boys will beg and plead, but they are being selfish if they don't think about your own feelings and discomforts.

Second, there is nothing wrong with sex during your period. It can be a little messy and he will get some blood on him, but if he can deal with it, no problem. In fact, barring any diseases, this is the safest time to have sex as the odds of getting pregnant during your period is practically nil.

But, having mentioned diseases, since there is blood involved, any blood-borne diseases can be easily transmitted. So, while birth control is not really needed, you still need to use condoms as the risks are much higer for passing something on.

If you are concerned about the mess, do it in the shower, but if not there, then as was suggested, lay out some old towels, and be sure to have a place to wash up afterwards.

Finally, though, if you don't feel good or if you are not comfortable about doing it during your period, then don't. It won't kill anyone to wait a week to have sex.

If you tend to cramp during your period you may find sex feels more crampy than normal and may not want a deep position. Have some towels to place under you to keep the sheets clean and have some washclothes for you and him to clean up with afterwards. It can get messy. However it is still often times very enjoyable and fun to have sex at this time as in any other time.
