I dont know much about it myself because I havent been on it.
From what I have seen it is much better than Depo since it isnt meant to last as long between shots.
You will still need to make sure you use condoms even on it. The reason being no matter how good a birth control claims to be it can still fail and you could have to deal with an unplanned pregnancy.
