there are two issues here.
1. you are scared becuase you need more info, that is what these board is all about, and we all here are glad u showed up here!
2. you also seem scared in another way of being hurt physcaly and the answer for this is quite easy, wait awhile, read the board sand talk to your b/f.
If he is 1/2 the person you r for coming to this board, he will be understanding and wait.
you both need to be comfortable with the relationship and where it leads, sex even the begining acts such as finger, can be a big step for many, take time, you won't be sorry.

PS it would be good to start your sexual relationship correctly and ask him to wear a condom on his fingers, it is a safe and healthy way to start things off.
There will be less likelyhood of him physically hurting you with a finger nail or tip of a finger and often the studded or ribbed varities can make the sensation great for both of you, but make sure you care about each other enuf to speak to each other and both be ready not just one of you.
