Hello. I am a 15 year old japanese male. As you may know or may not know it is not a custom nor a tradition to circumsize children. I was born in chicago my mom is japanese and my dad is british. I was never circumsized and i do masturbate every now and then. The issue i have now is that all the sudden my foreskin retracted, from what i have read in the past and now it is a good thing....*I THINK*...but i am worried because there is a curl or ring of inflated skin right below my head, and it almost seems like it is choking my penis. Now it hurts when i masturbate. Will the swelling go down? It seems to be getting bigger, today is august 19th and my foreskin peeled back yesterday. What should i do? I am so worried and i do not want to talk to my parents about it. I am REALLY REALLY worried about this. Please post something it will make me feel better. I can't stand it, if i try to stretch my skin back over my head it will have kinda like this big swollen ring at the tip. I do not want to have my penis surgically messed with. Is this normal or is this awfully different. I am on the verge of becoming scared but i haven't hit that point yet. When it happened in the shower i was in a state of shock for about 25 minutes. Please help!

Hi!

Normally, if your foreskin is pulled behind the penis head, you should pull it back over the head. I have left my foreskin retracted once or twice (to see what it feels like) and, after an hour or so, the underside of the foreskin has become swollen (or, as you say, "inflated").

Pull your foreskin back over the head and the swelling should go down after a while.

At your age, you should be retracting the foreskin regularly when you shower, so that you can clean the foreskin and head of your penis.

Don't panic. Everything should be OK. Keep us posted.

Well i finally told my mom about it. She called the doctor and he said to soak in a bath for about 15 minutes. Now he didn't say anything about pulling it back over the head. I have had it behind my head for almost two days. It has gotten quite swollen. But i find it more sexually pleasing with my head out. Can i do this during sex? Like pull the skin back while having oral sex or intercourse? I will try to pull it back over my head. Thank you.

Well my foreskin is back over my head and the tip is swollen but i think it is getting better. I thought it was natural that my foreskin would just pull back and stay there but i guess i was wrong assuming so. Thank you for your assistance and if anything else happens or if it gets worse (I HOPE NOT!
