Question Birth Control ? Could I be pregnant?

OK...I started taking birth control about a month ago. I had sex with my boyfriend and we didn't use protection. I am not sure if I could be pregnant or not? My friend told me that I am probally not because birth control kills the baby if you are pregnant? What should I do? I am going to get a pregnancy test soon but I haven't gotten it yet. I have taken my medicine since but I forgot to take it that night and I didn't take it till the next morning. I normally take it at 9pm and I ended up taking it at 9am the next morning. Plz help!

There is a very low chance you could be pregnant. Its recommended you dont have a sexual relationship within the first 4 to 8 weeks when taking the pill. The pill too slightly varies so different women's body respond differently to the pill.

In all seriousness you should still wear a condom and the pill should only be used as a second measure. Its common for teens to be scared for pregnacy but not std and thats why std is growing fast. Sex comes with responsibility and you did drop loose it there so next time be more careful otherwise if you cant your not ready.

I suggest you wait and see if you get your periods first but until than you can only wait. Its very unlikely but it is still possible.

I hope it all works out for you

First, BC doesn't alwasy "kill" the fetus if you are pregnant and you take BC. Women have gotten pregnant while taking BC and had heathy babies. Also, the pill isn't completely "in your system" for a month after regular use. Even right after a month of taking it you still have to be carefull. Dr's may say that if you miss the pill once that you don't need a back up but who knows. I would definitly get a test just to be sure. Maybe you aren't pregnant but it's best to know for sure. Good luck

me and my partner still use condoms even though she has been on BC for a couple months now, but sometimes condoms are fun to "test drive" Trojan has a line of fun ones to experiment with : Her Pleasure, Extended Pleasure, and my personal preference, Shared Pleasure enjoy!
