Sometimes i get this whitish discharge in my panties, there is no itch and nothing else really, i shave down there and i am sexually active, i have a horible stentch as well. is thhe discharge normal?

my boyfriend says it is but i am not sure and i am too afraid go to the gyno

An occasional white discharge isn't always alarming, however, if you have an odor then something is probably wrong. Either way you need to be evaluated to make sure it's nothing serious. Unless your b/f has a PhD then I think you should rely on someone who is certified to give those types of results. If you are afraid to go to a GYN doc then maybe you should reconsider having intercourse until you are ready to deal with possible consequences. I'm not trying to offend you, but everyone who decides to become sexually active should be tested periodically anyway. I hope that if you are not currently using condoms you choose to from now on. Take care and get checked ASAP!!

All women have white/clear discharge. It's totally normal and that's how the vagina cleans itself out. However, discharge shouldn't have a foul stench. If you find that its a very strong fishy or off smell, then consider going to the gyno because it could very well be an infection.

Any discharge with a strong odor needs to have it checked by your doc. You can see your regular doc to get this checked out. Since you are sexually active be sure you are getting your yearly pap/pelvic exams too.

Could very well be a Chlamydia infection, it has those symptoms and does not hurt or itch, and can have VERY serious consecuences if left untreated, even to the point of destroying the internal reproductive system in females and damaging the male reproductive system as well. Treatment is very simple, sometimes as simple as a single, high dose of antibiotics or a series of antibiotics over several days. If you haven't gone to a gyno yet, you should seriously consider it and if you test positive, your b/f *** MUST *** take the antibiotics at the same time as you do (and ***ANY*** other sexual partner you or him may have) because if not, you will play ping pong infecting each other again.
