I have a tiny bit of a problem. See, if i come home and its hot outside and I've been sweating or something, it kinda smells *down there*...But it doesnt do it otherwise,atleast not that i can remember. Does it sound like a yeast infection?? My mom is kind of freaked out by the fact that I wanna go get it checked at the Gyno. Because she thinks I'm just making an excuse cuz I'm not a virgin. But she dont know that I'm not. She SAYS I'm too young. And shes just goes insane when I say "I need to go to the gynocologist(SP?) .. Sorry if this is a dumb post. I just am worried!

When you sweat you will have more of an odor all over your body. Your best bet is to be sure you wear 100% cotton underwear and if you are perspiring heavily then change your underwear more often and freshen up at the sink. If you think you might have an infection then by all means get checked by a doc but your regular doc can handle all of your medical needs including your GYN needs. There is no need to see a GYN unless your feel more comfortable doing so. If it is just odor after sweating heavily that is bothering you then it probably isn't an infection. Use your judgement. Also if you decide you should see a doc just call and make the appointment if your mother doesn't think you need it.

yeast infections have alot more symptoms than smelling bad...and actually yeast infections dont..smell bad
