sideways penis

I have just started puberty and from a relatively young age i have had a penis which always points to the left, whether erect or otherwise.
Would having masturbated with my right hand pull it to one side? Any other resons? It hasn't affected my ability to masturbate/have an orgasm.

Re: sideways penis

What you have is perfectly normal, you haven't done anything wrong to it.

Re: sideways penis

Unless you have severe bend or twist, you are fine. A banana-shaped penis is not at all abnormal or unusual.

Re: sideways penis

this is quite normal most penisis are pointing to one side or another. You are not going to change this by using the other hand to masturbate. Good luck and take care.

Re: sideways penis

The normality of it depends on the nature/severity of it. Laying one way or another or a small twist-like variation are perfectly normal. If it literally changes directions at some point, that is less normal.

There is a connective tissue disease called Peyronies Disease that can cause this, and while it can affect men of any age, it doesn't usually develop until the age of 40 or older. This disease can occur in the hands and feet as well, though it is called Peyronies when it is in the penis. Basically the tissue under the skin, what is called fascia, actually disconnects from the skin and takes its own course, often bunching up, which causes a buildup of tissue in a localized area. In hands and feet this shows up as a bumpy ridge. It the penis it can cause a definite turn in direction. I have this condition in one of my hands, and this is the explanation the doc gave me.

At your age it is unlikely you have this, but if you feel it isn't normal you should get it checked just for your own clarification. A doc could confirm or refute this for your particular case. This condition in connective tissue is always present once it develops, but it's more pronounced with an erection.

Good luck to you.

M.

Re: sideways penis

Peyronies Disease is caused by injuries to the penis mainly while having sex. It is highly unlikely for a child in early stages of puberty to develop this disease. As you said it is more prevalent in early middle aged sexually active males. So for this reason I wouldn't have preoccupied a child with such an unlikely diagnosis. In the healthcare profession before a diagnosis is given, the complete holistic picture of the person with the probability and prevalence of the condition are identified. Only then a diagnosis is done, and proper treatment is given.
