sensitive skin...shaving/waxing/nair etc. suggestions please?? - Sexual Health - Women Message Board

Ok, so I have really sensitive skin. I've tried nair it burns like a mother, and when I am usually able to put lotion on after shaving to help I can't with nair cause it hurts like a mother (same with water of any kind, or touching). Shaving is ok but I dislike it alot, my hair grows really fast, within an hour I have stubble. I tried on the top of my pubic hair and it gives me red skin, it goes away after a while, and usually bumps. Creams don't work. Waxes don't work on me either, I get really bad skin reactions, red skin, bumps, zits, and ingrown hairs. Anyone tried Veet? or Epil-Stop and Spray? I hear that Epil-Stop really burns. What about lazer, it's expensive but does it have any side-effects for anyone with sensitive skin?

I have always been the same way. I tried nair for sensitive skin for the bikini area. I 1st let the war water run for awhile on th bkikini area, I left it on the max amount of time. I wiped it off in the direction of the hair instead of against. I did shave the rest close to the vagina though. Then i immediately applied "Bikini Zone". This worked for me.

i recently was just looking through some of these, but if anybody reads this hope it helps. i too have very sensitive skin so if i shave my legs or any hair that would be sensitive i first give a little coat of conditioner then i put the shaving cream on and shave, when i'm done it washes off and leaves skin smooth and not dry. once again hope it helps.
