Cunnilingus and fingering

About 8 weeks ago, I was fingered and then given cunnilingus by a guy. He kept his jeans on the entire time. This was my first time doing anything sexual and I am 18. The day after this happened, I started absolutely FREAKING out. At first I thought that I must be pregnant (which I know is an irrational thought) and I got the worst indigestion, because I know that indigestion is a sign of pregnancy. Then when I finally got over that fear, I got really freaked out over the possibility that I had contracted HIV. Now, I am not talking just a little scared, I am talking I want to kill myself because I know that I am going to die kind of fear. I have been soooo anxious and stressed. This is CONSTANTLY on my mind. About 3 weeks after this sexual encounter I started to get an itchy feeling in my vagina and some weird discharge. My period came about 1 1/2 weeks late and lasted for only like 1 or 2 days. It was really weird. Then the itchy feeling went away for awhile. I have had spotting this month (brown and red) and cramps that feel like menstrual cramps. Now about 8 weeks after my sexual encounter I am getting this same itchy, burning feeling in my vagina, but I have no discharge. Could this be an STD? What STDs can you get from receptive cunnilingus? Or could I just be convincing myself soooo much that I have something that I am causing this? Please help me!

stress can affect both the timeliness and duration of your period. your being so stressed could very well have caused it. also, if you started any sort of birth control within the past few months, that could do it too

First and foremost you need to calm down and then get seen by your dr. Explain what is going on and he/she can help you by testing you for stds and yeast infection. Of course since you are 18 you should also get a pap done when you see your dr.
Most common std gotten during oral sex is herpes(cold sores is one of the herpes viruses) but others can be gotten through oral sex.
Go see your doctor to get things checked out.
From now on make sure to use protection. For oral sex you can use dental dams(or condoms with the tip cut off and slit up the side).

Thank you both for your quick responses. I have not gone on birth control, so I know for a fact that is not what the problem is. I definitely think that stress could be a major factor in this, and I do plan on getting tested this Friday. I am pretty sure that it is not herpes, but I don't know what else it could be. It could just be that I was so freaked out when I saw that yeast infections were a common symptom of HIV that I started scratching "down there" and irritated it incredibly. I think that my anxiety and stress could be playing a major part in this, as I have never felt like this. I also basically stopped eating because I was so worried, so I figure that might be a factor in the period problem also. Any more feedback?

Can I suggest that you get some motherly advice from an experienced friend or perhaps a psychologist? If you are this uptight over some fingering, then what will happen when you finally do have intercourse. I mean all of this in the nicest way. There really is no reason to think the worst everytime!

You can also get some great informational books at the library or bookstore. HIV has many symptoms, as does yeast infections and other things. That doesn't mean you have it just because it is a symptom. The itching could have been from new laundry detergent, new soap...anything.

Calm down, breathe, relax, enjoy the experience and don't think the worst!! That will only make life miserable for you.

good luck
Lindy
