Is an inverted penis worth worring about?

My husband has a hidden penis. When soft it's hidden so much it looks like a doorbell. He erects fine and everything else is great, but do to this he has a nasty smell. Any ideas out there what this might be from??? I recently found out from mom that one of my younger brothers have the same problem. Both he and my hubby are over weight. Could that be why??

Being overweight is the major source of the problem. It can hide inches of penile length in the fat above the pubic bone. Being held inside the fat and skin may be the source of the smell. Taking a shower before intercourse is always a good idea. If he were to lose weight, the problem would probably go away - and he would appear to gain penile length.

Re: Is an inverted penis worth worring about?

you know, I thought my b/f was the ONLY one on Earth with this problem, and now I see I am not alone. It was a strange sight at first (the hidden penis). I didn't know whether to laugh or cry... but everything worked out fine in that area, once erect.

I find, though, that the "smell" is a big issue between us, because he wants me to perform oral.... and anyone who's ever got a whiff of this wouldn't be too happy to get on their knees! I know this sounds horribly mean, but it makes a big difference to just "clean up the area a bit" before expecting me to do any favors.

I find that showers help, but not always, and I, too, wondered if weight is an issue. My b/f is 320lbs. I try to encourage him to lose weight, but he isn't doing anything about it. I put my foot down, though! No "going down" till he gets it squeaky clean! Is that wrong?

That is definitely NOT wrong. There is nothing wrong about expecting your partner to have proper hygiene when it comes to something like that! While his weight is most likely the culprit, it doesn't exempt him from taking normal care, in fact, he should be taking extra care.

As for the original question, posts like this come up occasionally, especially on the men's board, about overweight men having 'small-looking' penises. It seems like the more weight the men carry, while their gut may stick out farther and farther, their penis stays in the exact same place and seems to 'shrink', hidden by their large legs and bellies...
