Most women worry about not being well enough lubricated for sex. Is there such a thing as a woman being too wet and slippery making penile entry difficult? Does the amount of lube very depending on a womans' period cycle?

Not sure about the period cycle,but there were times when my wife and I would have to pull out and use a towel or tissue to remove excess lubrication.

Yes it is possible for some women to be too wet.
Also many times it can depend on the woman's cycle. During the fertile time frame there is more CM(cervical mucus) to help the sperm along so sex during that time can be wetter. Some women will also notice more discharge right before their period even though it isnt really a fertile time.

the wetter the better in my opinion...
