| Losing Virginity
My boyfriend and I both are ready and want to have sex (we are both virgins). However, every time he tries to penetrate me, the pain is so intense we have to stop. I think the furthest he has gone in is about 3 inches. We have tried using lubricant on lubricated condoms, but the pain is unlike anything I've experienced before, and it's difficult for him to move further inside me (which is odd, considering that we use lubricant). I have never used a tampon; and I've never been able to put in anything thicker than a tampon without feeling sharp pains.
I know I should just grin and bear it and get the first few times over with, but I wondered what your first times were like, and if there is anything to do to ease the pain and difficulty? We are both getting very frustrated, and I'd really appreciate any advice anyone could give me.
