BC and pregnancy
I'm currently on BC, if I wanted to become pregnant when should I stop taking the BC? I was just wondering if you had any statistics of the percentage of women who get pregnant after having unprotected sex for the first time?

No stats on the first time however I seem to remember it being as high as 89% get preg within a year of quitting..but i have heard two sides of the story w/ how long you should wait to try after quitting, too. Some Dr's say you must wait 3 months others have told me it really doesn't matter...that your body will correct itself.

If this is true or not....I'm not sure I've always heard it's best (but not manditory) to have ONE cycle off BC before TTC...and I'd probably stop when your period starts and you've finished your pack.

I Imagine quitting bcp mid month wouldn't be too grand
