Does anyone know if a woman whose partner is not circumcised gets more vaginal infections? I have heard this but dont know if it is true or not. My boyfriend isnt circumcised and I wonder if it has to do with my bacterial vaginosis. Neither of us have any STD's so I know that isnt my problem. I have an appt tomorrow to see if my BV has come back (both of us are experiencing mild itching and odor). He is very clean down there and washes real good in the shower. But ya know sometimes with sweating and stuff. Does anyone have any experience with this too? Thanks you guys for any input.
I've never heard of that! My partner isn't circumsized and we have been going over 4 yrs now with no condoms and I've had no problems.. not even had a yeast infection! (Knock on wood) Maybe yours isn't as clean as he says? Just an option! Good Luck!
Has your partner been treated for BV? Males are usually not treated except in cases where the female partner has repeated infections. Since your boyfriend is having symptoms too, it is worth looking into.
