we are both really worried. have question

i have a question and if anyone could tell me anything that would really help.
around last month, me and my girlfriend were having sex. i always wear a condom when we do, and i always pulled out before i ejaculated on top of that. but last month we were and we had an accident in which the condom slipped off inside of her. i'm not sure how long it was off but the minute we realized i pulled out of her and we had to get the condom out of her. i'm sure i did not ejaculate inside of her because everytime i am even sure i do i pull out. but i what i'm worried about is more about if it's possible there could be remnants at all inside of the condom. is that possible we are both sure i didn't ejaculate though.
it's about 3 and a half weeks now and she says she doesn't feel any different. a couple of nights ago she said that she was having cramps in her lower stomach and she said that this is around when her period is due. that made us worry a little less but it's still in the back of our minds cause we are still waiting for her period. it's only been a couple of days though. how long does period start after cramps?
are we just really really paranoid? cause i read that you can have cramps in the first stages of pregnancy but she said this is around when she should have her period. she says she feels no different. we both love each other alot and any help from somebody would be appreciated . thanks.

Re: we are both really worried. have question

It sounds like you guys are really safe
The amount of time it takes from cramping to actual AF differes from woman to woman, and often from month to month.

I do think you are being a bit worried, with how cautious you are, but if it will ease your mind, go to the store and buy a home pregnancy test. The worst it can do is confirm what you're fearing, and that will only set you on your way to getting help faster.

Re: we are both really worried. have question

it doesn't sound like she could be pregnant. this sort of this is not uncommon. it's what makes condoms so much less effective, only 75% than other forms of birth control (like natural family planning (99%), the pill (99%) etc.)

sometimes periods can come late, especially if she is stressed out, or sick. sometimes you think it's late just because you are so eager for it to come. and if you think you might be pregnant, one day late seems like a whole week. it's really not a big deal.

so just wait it out. you can always go to a free, confidential clinic. they give you the results right then, sometimes even do an ultra sound. many of them can test before you even have your period, while store-bought tests usually aren't effective until around the time you would have your period (usually already about three weeks pregnant by then).

Re: we are both really worried. have question

I wouldnt worry much dude, last year me and my girlfriend were having sex and as I pulled out after ejaculation i didnt grasp the rim of the condom as you always should and my penis came out but the condom was hanging out of her, we about freaked! but i dont believe and semen got in her but we were worried anyways for a few days. It can happen if you arent careful. Always hold on to the rim when pulling out of her.
