| Period/Ovulation
Hello ladies! OK, well I am a young girl and frankly my mother and I have never really had a "talk" about my period, so there are many unanswered questions I have. I feel most comfortable asking them here and I hope some of you can help me. I'm curious about sperm meeting the egg, when is the most likely time a woman can get pregnant, etc. I believe this is how it works: If no egg is fertilized, one week a month the lining of the walls breaks down and that is the blood that is released during your period. When a sperm is introduced, the lining of the walls help protect and support the zygote that is forming. I think the eggs move closer and closer the your vagina as you get closer to your time of the month, so that would lead me to believe that you are most likely to get pregnant right before you are supposed to start, and least likely right after your period. Now, I may have that all wrong and you all may be laughing at how confused I am. Nonetheless, please explain to me everything you can
I appriciate the response,
-Sweet<3
