Question Breast odor???

I was wondering if breast odor is normal. When I change at the end of the day I smell a strong odor in my bra and coming from my breasts. I am a clean person and clean my bras frequently, but cannot seem to get rid of the odor. Is this normal or a health concern???

Re: Breast odor???

I'm fairly large-breasted and yes, for me, it is normal. When I exercise or the heat in my office goes crazy, I sweat under and my breasts. I put a fresh bra on each day, wash, dry thoroughly and sprinkle with a corn-starch based powder to make sure every bit of moisture is gone before I dress. I've also heard of people putting anti perspirents under thier breasts, but I've never done that, and I just don't like the thought of it.

Re: Breast odor???

One other thought. What is the condition of the skin under and around your breasts? If it's irritated you could have an infection that may need to be treated w/ anti-yeast meds or anti-fungal meds. In that case, consult w/ a doctor to determine appropriate treatment.

Re: Breast odor???

I have the same problem and it's embarrassing. My boyfriend says it doesn't bother him, he thought it was because I eat a lot of garlic. However this isn't a problem around my breasts or under my breasts; it's actually an odor and taste coming from my nipples. What's the problem??? Anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Breast odor???

Many BC pills and patches have so much estrogen that it can cause odors & kill the sex drive in women.
