Could be that you have fibroids and if you had some pretty rigerous sex, you can get you period going again. They can cause longer and heavier periods. Women in perimenopause have long periods sometimes because of hormonal changes. Could be that your hormones are doing something too. I wouldn't worry if it is like your period. If you are gushing blood, go to the ER even if you can't pay for it.
