Re: pimples on vagina

If your 20 and still with your parents, you would think that your mom would know that you need to go even if she thinks your still a virgin. Just tell her that your periods are not regular like they should be and you need to go get checked out, surely she would be ok with that, especially you being 20 years old. Hope this helps, I don't know why you have pimples down there though.

okay this sounds really bad. I had a friend that had this same problem and they would get puss in them. She would have to go to the doc and have them lanced. I am not sure what it was but she said it was heriditary. I dont know if I believe that or not but you seriously need to be checked out.

Re: pimples on vagina

pimples... are these like regular pimples with oily contents in them? or are they just raised areas? you might want to get checked for HPV (human papiloma virus), as it causes genital warts, which can manifest as small raised areas that look like pimples.

your mother should have taken you to see a gyn herself around the time you turned 16. regular gynecological exams are a part of being a healthy woman, and i'm sure your mom wants you to be healthy. just tell her you think it's time you started seeing one. there doesn't necessarily have to be a reason, and you can tell her that having her in the room with you is embarrassing, that way she won't know what you talk about with the gyn.

Re: pimples on vagina

hi,
Just to let you know, because your over 18 you can use your parents insurance without them knowing, you just need to have your insurance card and at your age you should have it on you at all times in case of an emergency. I am 19, I don't live with my parents but I’m covered by their insurance because I’m a college student, I just recently went to get birth control, I went to my regular doctor and got the prescription and filled it. I don't know where people are getting the idea that they cant use their insurance just because its their parents insurance, but its not like your parents get a bill that show prescriptions or doctors visits, they pay one flat rate for their insurance which is usually taken from their pay check, you can just go to the doctor and pay your co pay and that is it. You’re an adult and your health is your responsibility and your business not your parents. If you are unsure about this just call the number on your insurance card they can explain it better, but basically they cant release any information about your health to anyone with out your permission its the law.
