hi my girlfriends not on this site so i thought id pose this question for her. we've both only started having sex about a year ago but every now and then she finds sex painful and we dont know why...we hadnt had much sex in a while and then it started again ..so if anyone has dealt with anything similar can someone give me advice,sorry the message isnt that clear

Is she on the pill or other hormonal birth control? That tends to cause a general "drying out" in the vaginal area, at least that was my experience, and that makes sex more painful. All I can advise is to be sure to use plenty of lube.

That could be it she is taking the pill.thanks for the advice

The pill makes my skin more sensitive down there so I get little rips or tears around the opening very easily! It can be painful.. but the doctor said there wasn't anything wrong and no infection.

it could be cause she is dry down there so use some lube and it might with te pain.
