Where did my sex drive go????? - Sexual Health - Women Message Board

I am a 43 yr old women with chronic pain from cervical surgeries and such. I also had a hysterectomy over a year ago post my pregnancy for cervical cancer stuff. I kept my ovaries. However, I have NO sex drive and am very dry. We hardly ever have sex and it isn't like me. I first thought it was part of post pardom but I never had depression. Then I wondered if it was my pain meds. But I would think that woudld be good, no pain. So here I sit wondering how to get it back.....Any one else with this problem? And how did you get it back??? I just do not enjoy it................HELP

well, I am not much help for I am in the same shoes. I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago but I did have my ovaries removed. I have lost nearly all interest in intimacy and it is painful anyways. The only thing that has helped me is taking HRT but I can't take any anymore so I am left with my non exsistant sex drive.
