too much vaginal moisture

I always have too much vaginal moisture. I was always normal before, but after I turned 40 everything changed. It is not due to being aroused, it is always like that. When my husband and I have sex it is really distracting and not so nice. Way, way too wet. I makes me not want to have sex. I feel like my husband doesn't feel anything during sex. We have to stop and wipe down with a towel ever so often and I hate it. I'm so sick of it. It seems like a job instead of pleasure. I am desperate. Please, isn't there something I can eat, medication, exercise, drink, cream, powder, something?????? I'm tired of everyone telling me how lucky I am. My doctor said most women my age(43) have the opposite problem and I should just enjoy it. I AM NOT ENJOYING IT!! Please help me.

Thanks,
CC

Re: too much vaginal moisture

hi,
I can't help you with your problem and I understand your frustration, if your hubby is ok with it? and you feel pleasure? then just keep the towels handy and enjoy.
you may ask your Dr or get a second opinon to see what another Dr says about it? they have medications for vaginal dryness , why not for to much wettness?
btw, I love it when My g/f gets wet, really wet...towels is not a problem other than having to wash them later.

About the only thing I can think of and this may not have a thing to do with it /?..but maybe your entering menopause? at 43? Maybe your Adrenal glands or some type of harmone like estrogen/progesterone, are off balance? or maybe overies have some type of blockage and releases to much fluid when it does release that perticular harmone?
you maybe taking a prescribe medication causing your problem?

I hope you do find a soulation to your problem and you don't think its a ''job'' to be intimate...I'm sure you will find whats wrong and agian IT WILL FEEL VERY PLEASURABLE TO YOU.
Good Luck to you.

Re: too much vaginal moisture

You can try taking an anihistamine (like benedryl) to try and dry it up a bit, since what produces the lubrication are mucus membranes. The downside of taking those is you might become really drowsy. Some women produce a lot of lubrication, other women not so much. Keep using the towels

Re: too much vaginal moisture

try putting in a tampon for a little while before sex... should dry up the fluids at least for a little while

Re: too much vaginal moisture

carcc, i know exactly how you feel. i'm 26 yrs old and in the past couple years, my vaginal wettness has become ever so bothersome. sex is completely unenjoyable for me and i constantly worry that its not enjoyable for the guy i'm with. i'm assuming it has to do with my hormones being out of whack because i am also missing my periods and i'm not pregnant (tubes are tied, no period in over 6 months)...
