Pain while peeing... Everytime after sex

Hey guys...

My girlfriend says it hurts when she pees a few hours after we have sex...

This happens EVERYTIME when we have sex and goes away after some hours or a day...

if it was an std or an infection wouldn't it last longer?

What do you think?

(shes definitely going to see a doctor next week)

Possibly, and most likely, she has a Urinary Tract Infection that needs to be treated with antibiotics (UTIs can cause bacterial bladder or kidney infections and possibly worse).

A urine specimen at the doctor's office would be a good place to start with diagnosing. If symptoms have progressed, they may want to do an ultrasound.

She should seek treatment now and you should stop having sex until she has been seen by a medic.

Well, if it's only on the skin, I have the same problem. It's because my husband is quite big and it seems to rip the skin or rub it raw each time! So whenever I pee it burns because pee is acidic and your vagina has just been rubbed raw so it burns! If you test and there are no STDS or anything else, it could just be hurting from an enlarged penis!

If it DOES go away, then it wouldn't be a UTI. These would stay and would get worse... I've had a few and know that if you don't treat them, you just feel worse and worse.

It's probably just from chafing and a little irritation from sex. Of course making sure she is well lubricated can help, but it won't avoid everything. It just happens from the friction and some are more sensitive than others.

What kind of pain is your girlfriend feeling?
Is it burning? OR does it feel bruised? Can she tell exactly where it hurts? Does it feel like its in the urethra, in the bladder or is it on her vulva?
The reason I'm asking you to ask these questions is because they can mean different things.
I had pain after sex when weeing, and it would last 1 - 2 days. Then go away. But after a year, it started to hurt longer, and became painful during sex. It felt like a bruised feeling.
I went to have it checked out, and it turned out to be something i never expected. VIN. So do make sure she goes to have it seen too. It may be something very simple to fix.
Good luck
